Simple: what else do you listen to other than metal?
Me, I listen pretty much exclusively to metal, but once in awhile I listen to classic rock and other hard rock stuff. I used to listen to jazz music and was a very good saxophone player back in high school. I kind of grew tired of it though. I never really listened to rap or pop, somehow completely avoided that.
EDIT: I had to remove the first draft of the poll with one vote, so please vote again. The title was horribly confusing due to a rewrite and I could not edit it due to it having one vote already so I had to do a new one and remove the old version.
That 1 was my vote, so I just voted again.
ReplyDeleteI believe you 'forgot' to mention who gave you the idea for this genius poll.... :)
ReplyDeleteYes, my fiancee recommended the post idea. Sorry for not giving you credit.
ReplyDeleteGreat poll idea, Mrs. Metallattorney.
ReplyDeleteI answered hard rock, classical, classic rock, and nu metal. Those are probably the only other genres that have any appreciable impact on my listening. I do listen to VERY LITTLE country and blues, the former is mostly Johnny Cash and the latter is mostly John Lee Hooker. Combined, all my non-metal listening probably comprises less than 10 percent of my audio diet. I suppose it could be more than that, depending on where you draw the line on things, but that's pretty accurate.
I owned exactly one rap album, and it was Eminem's Slim Shady LP. I owned it for about a month or two. I will write a post which touches on that in the near future.
