Moonspell is so far the only band I have heard out of Portugal, but they are a damn good one. They were one of the early bands I checked out from the international metal scene, having first discovered them sometime in my early college years. Moonspell has had a variety of sounds over the years, starting with black metal, then incorporating gothic and folk metal elements. Their sound has been some combination of those genres or other ever since. This is certainly not a problem when it is performed as well as Moonspell does it.FAVORITE ALBUM: WOLFHEART
