I have reviewed the Voivod album that I picked up on cassette. I also have four new additions to my CD collection. I blame the folks over at Metal Inquisition (damn peer pressure) for my placing an order with Comatose Music (they had a great sale this week). I was impressed by their gushing over slam death metal, a subgenre that is rare in my collection, so I placed an order for albums by Abominable Putridity, Devourment, Katalepsy, and Vomit Remnants. Previously, I only had albums by Sanatorium, Dying Fetus, and Internal Bleeding. I will probably do a joint slam post one of these days looking at all of the slam albums in my collection. Won't that be exciting?
