I have mentioned several times that I am a big fan of thrash metal, it is perhaps my favorite metal genre. As such, I feel that the German scene is just as good, if not better than the Bay Area scene when it comes to prime thrash metal scenes. Kreator is one of the Big 3 of German thrash, and I go back and forth as to whether I prefer them or Sodom from this particular scene. Certainly the vocal style of Mille Petrozza is the biggest strength for Kreator, and their extremely brutal style of thrash is definitely unique. FAVORITE ALBUM: PLEASURE TO KILL
